"I am inspired by both the capabilities and challenges of human emotion which intertwine with my utilization towards sentimental memories and personal struggle. What motivates and inspires me to continue my work is the uninterrupted, sustained passion to express myself in such a beautiful yet healthy way. My devoted, passionate, hardworking, engaged personality is driven by both my mental illness, past physical and psychological abuse from those close to me, and other personal struggles. I turn my struggles into visual opportunities which both allow sentimental connections between my work itself and with those who perceive me. Pictures and film express and convey so much more than words could ever compare to.
Nostalgia and “overcoming life’s challenges” are main underlying themes within my work. Both of which forms a sentimental connection with my audience and also empowers my audience to relive their own memories either in a nostalgic way, or in a deep reflective way. I am devoted to pouring my soul into my work because ultimately, it’s my work that keeps me alive. Divergent thought is what dominates my work in which makes me willing to strain against boundaries in order to create new unique approaches".
